- Local Storage Only: All game data — teams, player names, words, scores, and match history — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework
- No Cloud Sync: Fishbowl does not use iCloud or any other cloud service to sync or back up your data
- Developer Access: We have zero access to anything stored on your device
What Information the App Stores
The app may store the following information based on your usage:
- Team names and team colors you choose
- Player names entered during game setup
- Words and phrases submitted by players for each game
- Game results, scores, and match history
- App settings such as music and sound preferences
Important: All of this information stays on your device only. We never receive or have access to any of it.
Permissions We Request
No Special Permissions Required
Fishbowl does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or any other sensitive device permissions. The app functions entirely with no permissions beyond standard app operation.

- No Server: We don't operate any servers that store your data — there is nothing to breach

You have complete control over your data:
- View Your Data: See all game history and stats directly in the app
- Delete Your Data: Delete individual matches from the Stats screen at any time
- Complete Deletion: Deleting the app removes all locally stored data from your device entirely
Children's Privacy
Fishbowl is a family-friendly party game suitable for all ages. The app does not collect any information from any users, including children. Since all data stays on-device and we have no server access, there is no risk of children's data being transmitted or stored by us.
Third-Party Services
Fishbowl uses no third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks that collect data. There are no analytics libraries, advertising networks, or crash-reporting tools embedded in the app.
Data Sharing
We never share your data because:
